I am soooo excited about some new additions added to the bag in the past few months.
Although I've made some rad upgrades, gear doesn't make you a great photographer. I use specific focal lengths, camera bodies, and various other equipment to enhance the vision I've already created in my mind.
QUICK REVIEW: I'm in love with this body. Seriously. I came from the crop sensor family, so this full frame allows me to use my 50mm...at 50mm. I did tons of research before this purchase. After an intense comparison between the 5d Mark III and the 6d, the 6d is just as rad. I couldn't justify paying extra for only a few additional features.

Sigma 35mm 1.4 ART
QUICK REVIEW: Hands down, it's sharpest lens in my bag. I use this lens more than my beloved 85mm. I can get that beautiful bokeh close up but I can also get the wide shots I need without changing my lens. It's also my favorite lens for family and lifestyle sessions. You've got to be careful, though. I scored a great copy with no focus issues. Sometimes, you have to purchase an additional Sigma dock or send it back to calibrate.
Canon 135mm f/2L
QUICK REVIEW: Just a few months ago, I was dead set on getting the uber talked about Canon 70-200 f/2.8. I stumbled upon a few great articles comparing the 70-200 to the Canon 135 f/2. Renting lenses add up, and I needed (yes, needed) a longer focal length for weddings. I'm in love with primes and found that the 135 offered the sharp consistency I strive for in my work.
I just got this lens, like yesterday. First impression: f/2 is amazingly sharp and I am in love with the creamy bokeh. I can't wait to use this guy on a wedding ceremony!

Fujifilm Mini 90 Instax
QUICK REVIEW: I've wanted this little guy for a LONG time. It's seriously everything you would ever need in an instant film camera. With other Fujifilm instant cameras, there is no option to turn off the flash. The Mini 90 has that option! I also have a ton of other rad options including landscape, party, kids, macro, bulb, and double exposure modes. The Mini 90 is in my bag at every shoot!
